Qualifying tournament
To compete on Japan’s professional golf tour, players must advance through the qualifying tournament. Below is an overview of the key information you need to know. The qualifying tournaments consists of 4 stages. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and the final. Almost top 30% of players in each field advance to the next stage.

Entry fees
The entry fee for the qualifying tournament is 220,000 yen*. In addition, golf play fees are charged at each stage. The entry fee is the same whether a player is eliminated at the 1st stage or advances to the final stage.

Tour Eligibility
Top finishers at the Final Stage earn priority entry into Japan Golf Tour events. Other strong finishers gain eligibility on the ACN Tour. Players completing the later stages receive official Tour Player status.
